My Background
I have always been drawn to the startup world. As a founding member inside two venture backed technology companies, I experienced what it means to build something from an idea into a real, revenue generating business.
Startups are often described as fast paced and scrappy. What I learned is that sustaining one requires far more than speed. It takes grit, creativity, disciplined execution, and a group of people aligned around a shared goal.
As Vice President of Operations at my last company, I partnered closely with the CEO through pivots, restructuring, fundraising, rapid expansion, and more than one moment where runway felt uncomfortably short. I saw firsthand that while product, strategy, and capital often get the spotlight, none of it moves without the people and culture behind it.
I found my work at the intersection of people, culture, and operational discipline, because that is what ultimately determines whether a company can survive.
What over a decade in startups taught me
